My friends at Xbox LIVE Arcade are sponsoring a new award for the Independent Games Festival. The XBLA Prize awards a publishing contract and funding to release the winning game on LIVE Arcade. I’m glad to see them reaching out to the indie community in a new way.

IGF organizers have announced a multi-year partnership with Microsoft that will give one Independent Games Festival entrant a guaranteed, funded first-party publishing slot on Xbox Live Arcade every year.
