I spent two great days in Vancouver meeting with our team there and visiting a new indie developer who is doing some work for us. And I had a great meal at Chambar, a terrific Belgian restaurant, as well as very fine cocktails at the Diamond. Vancouver, you’re growing on me.

Metacritic is up to 15 reviews of Full House Poker and our score is holding steady at 80. For a downloadable poker game, I’m very happy with that score.

I swear I’m almost done being excited about how well Full House Poker is doing. But we just hit 100,000 players after five and a half days on the market. And I’m kinda jazzed.
Full House Poker leaderboards are now over 90,000 players and we’re still less than a week after launch. This bird has flown.
Today we launched the Spring 2011 season of Texas Heat, my poker MMO/game show within Full House Poker. We ran twelve half-hour episodes with between 10,000 and 13,000 players per show. We had some technical issues but overall it played great. Twelve more episodes run this Tuesday. Join in!
The Daily (aka that magazine thing on the iPad) reviews my poker game. Regarding the Texas Heat game-show mode: “Players can’t waste time folding endlessly if they want to advance, and as such, this mode delivers some of the most frenetic online poker I’ve ever played.”
HELLZ YEAH.

IGN gives my game an 80. Thanks, IGN!
Finally, a worthwhile place to show off all of that money you blew on Avatar clothing.
GamePro gives us a very fine 4.5/5 review that has taken our Metacritic score up to 81. For now, anyway!
GamePro Review: Full House Poker (XBLA)
I’ve been refreshing my game’s leaderboards all day, which serves double duty as our real-time sales tracking tool. We’ll reach 20,000 players shortly, which is very strong, and there’s hours to go yet for our day-one sales total. I’m hoping we hit 35k on day one . . .
I about had a heart attack when I saw a review of my game pop up on Metacritic that gave us a 40. Then we noticed the actual review gave us 4 out of 5 stars; Metacritic just screwed up the data entry. Microsoft wetworks team has been dispatched.
