Ever since the launch of the 360, there has really only been one 'go to' option for gamers who wanted to get their virtual poker fix: Texas Hold 'Em.
THQ doesn’t have a lot going on right now but even so, seeing their stock price tank because of Metacritic is really painful.

I’m not posting links to every review of Full House Poker because there are more than thirty of them up now and more to come. Metacritic only has a few so far, but our producer examined all 30+ write-ups and found that our average review score is 80.8/100. I will take that to the bank.
Some nice creature designs. But it’s an MMO, which means even the fifteen-foot-tall ogres with enormous chain guns just stand there, six feet from a tiny human with a pistol, and the two of them trade fire endlessly without bothering to move around. Keep chipping away at that healthbar! Yawn.
17/20. And yeah, he was totally right-on in his major criticism: this is a poker game, not a trivia game. Crap, how did we let that one get by?

Yeah, not much we can do about that risk-free aspect. Unless you care about XP and leveling, in which case you risk quite a lot. Busting means you are blocked from earning XP for X hands, and X gets bigger as you level up.
9.5/10 means I will not say anything snarky about this beautiful human being’s kind words.
