Back in time to the first weekend of my trip, when I attended WarpCon in Cork. This is my friend Myles Corcoran, hefting a Guinness I believe. Guinness is made in Dublin, while Murphy's is the drink of Cork. Myles and his wife Samantha hosted me for a night during my travels. I went to the wrong address, and the woman who answered the door bore a vague-enough resemblance to Sam that I thought it might be her. I said something about "Sorry I'm late," and she said, "Oh, that's all right," and I said "So may I come in?" and she said "Of course," and I walked in with my backpack, said hello to another woman in the kitchen, turned around to the first and said, "I'm in the wrong house," and she said, "Oh I see," and laughed and I went outside again. They're very friendly people, the Irish.
