Dublin, looking down the Liffey. I went back and forth between Cork and Dublin several times, staying with various people I met at WarpCon. In Dublin I decided to buy a copy of James Joyce's Ulysses, which of course is set in Dublin. As I began reading it, I realized that I was staying in the very same neighborhood where Bloom and his wife live--quite possibly within the same block, in fact. Weird. The cover of my copy of Ulysses has a photograph very similar to this one, but taken decades ago.
