This appropriately flamboyant statue of Oscar Wilde adorns a boulder in Merrion Square, a lovely park near St. Stephen's Green. I was wandering around there looking for the National Gallery, which proved to be closed for construction. While searching for the gallery, I found a large, ornate structure that looked gallery-ish and went walking up through the gates. I was stopped by a soldier; it turned out I was walking straight towards the Parliament building, which was evidently not okay.
